That's right. I started doing this work when I was fifteen years old. That's the first time I ever collected money to help someone lose weight and get in shape— a mother of one of the players on my JV football team.

My Mother Taught Me More Than Medical School

I took this realization and did something that was counterintuitive at the time; I told her to walk more and workout less. I also added carbs back into her diet with extra protein. Almost overnight things started to change. My mother's metabolic formula was different.
