The Four Existential Crises – Ep. 128

Dealing with life events and other human beings along the way really makes us face four critical concerns: freedom, loneliness, meaninglessness, and death. In a way, freedom can be a primal cause for anxiety; loneliness is the natural state in which everyone is born; meaninglessness is what every individual wants to – or should – avoid by living a purposeful life, and death is the ultimate event that makes us want to leave a legacy.

In this episode of the Next Level Human Podcast, Dr. Jade analyzes these four existential crises, how each one of them influences our actions, and how they would eventually modify our existence – for better or for worse – if we take the time to consider and think about each one of them. Managing these crises is a skill that must be strengthened with time, but it’s one more step towards becoming a next level human.
